Strength Training

Power Shot's hockey-specific strength training programs ensures that your workouts translate directly to on-ice performance. We focus on specific muscle groups to improve skating, power, and balance. 


Our core workouts focus on abs, obliques, and the lower back. This leads to more stability on the ice and directly impacts skating and shooting power.

Lower Body

Our lower body workouts target the quads, hamstrings, and hip flexers. These key muscles are the backbone of a strong skater and will improve power, agility, and acceleration.


We use a combination of interval training, directional training, stationary bikes, and treadmills to increase player endurance. This is an important factor in keeping a player competitive for all 3 periods of the game.
